Hardcover, 598 page massive tome of a book with full color art and maps. Unused condition, has just been sitting on my shelf looking pretty.
Aegis of Empires is a collection of six adventures (each a mini campaign in their own right) woven into one overarching epic storyline. The six adventures span all four tiers of play, ranging from 1st level to 15+ and beyond. The cool thing about this storyline is that it purposefully leaves gaps for you as the DM to fill in with your own mind: add side quests, run down rabbit holes, and give your players freedom of choice all without messing up the flow of the campaign. The publisher also suggests some of their own material and provides advice on how you might fill those gaps as well. This is a very well thought out and interesting adventure that was clearly a passion-project for the designer. Usually this adventure path is sold as 6 individual booklets, so take this opportunity to get it all in one hardcover!
