VTG First Nations Carved Wood Eagle Lot Signature Antune Charlie AW Charlie II
Vintage First Nations Lot of 2 Hand Carved Wood Lot of Eagles. Both are signed, 1 saying Antune Charlie and 1 saying AW Charlie II, believed to be of the NUU-CHAH-NULTH TRIBE (previously Nootka). Not sure if this is father/son or if Antune Charlie is Charlie Antune and his signature evolved through the years.
The taller one with the full body of an eagle measures 11 1/2" high x 2 1/2" wide and is signed on the back Antune Charlie, Eagle. It has a leather hanger nailed on the back.
The longer one with the eagle heads measures 5 1/2" high x 8 7/8" wide and is singed A.W. Charlie II, Eagle.
