Vintage 1940s 14” Platter from Vernon Kilns in California. Pattern “Fruitdale” made in USA. Hand painted under glaze pottery. Every piece is individualized. No crazing. Labeled on back. Big enough for your Thanksgiving turkey or Christmas ham. Own a piece of history. Belonged to my grandparents in Kansas City, MO.
Defects noted in photos: 1) Two chips on back of platter not noticeable from front. 2) Stem coming off leaf appears “broken”. This “error” may be from original manufacturing and not due to deterioration.
