Shimano SH-ME7 offers a unique balance of combining XC lightness with durability at a reasonable price point. Shimano ME702 mountain bike shoe has a synthetic upper that buckles down for a secure comfortable fit with speed laces that tuck nicely under the top cover. The underneath of the mountain bike shoe is finished with Michelin rubber soles providing traction for firm footing during hike-a-bike quests and equipped with stiffness for the accelerations.
Shimano uses a reinforced stabilizer that holds your feet in place ensuring no loss of pedal power on demanding ascents. The carbon midsole is responsive and lightweight allowing for flex in the later part of the mountain bike shoe. Another nice feature in the ME7 is a bit of more wiggle room in the toe box keeping you comfortable on off trail excursions.
